Lyndsey Brouhard is a third generation Butler County native. She currently lives in Andover with her son Jack and two crazy dogs. Lyndsey earned her Associate of Science degree from Butler County Community College in 2003, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tabor College in 2005. Her career in business gave her ten years of varied experience in accounting, quality management, process improvement, and human resources. She searched for the perfect type of small business to apply her talents and became interested in the field of pharmacy. She joins us with 8 years of experience in independent pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas. Lyndsey states that what she likes best about the world of pharmacy is it allows her to help others in an ever-evolving work environment. Of this, she says "each day brings new patients to help, problems to solve, and improvements to make. It's very satisfying to see your efforts make the day better for someone else."
Her hobbies include attending her son's many activities, enjoying stand up comedy or the occasional quality television series, and sampling local restaurants. She is particularly inspired by the revitalization of community pride in the Wichita area. She says "I feel a cultural shift is occurring, with a push to shop, eat, and drink local. There is no reason this shouldn't include supporting Kansas-owned pharmacies instead of giant chains. I love that El Dorado already has thriving local support and embraces its pharmacy. I also enjoy that El Dorado has a small town feel with city conveniences. I feel very blessed to work at TrueCare and serve the people of Butler County."
